Herndon, Morton, Herndon & Yaeger, was founded in 1938 by the late Richard G. Herndon. Mr. Herndon was joined by R. Clark Morton and his daughter – the late Judith Herndon, to form Herndon, Morton & Herndon. The firm became known as Herndon, Morton, Herndon & Yaeger with the addition of current senior partner, William J. Yaeger, Jr. in 1976.
Herndon, Morton, Herndon & Yaeger (“HMH&Y”) is “AV” rated by The Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory. The “A” rating is for very high to preeminent legal ability. The “V” rating is for “very high” general ethical standards. Each rating is the highest available from Martindale-Hubbell.
